1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering, or using the https://kalyanamala.org website, mobile applications, or associated offline matchmaking services (collectively referred to as the "Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To register as a member or use this platform, you must fulfill the following mandatory legal criteria:

• You must be of legal marriageable age under the laws of India (minimum 18 years for females and 21 years for males).
• You must be legally competent to enter into a valid marriage contract under the applicable personal laws of your jurisdiction.
• You must be currently unmarried, divorced, or widowed. (Divorcees must provide certified copies of legal divorce decrees upon request).
• You are registering solely with the bona fide intention of seeking a matrimonial life partner for yourself or on behalf of your son, daughter, sibling, or relative with their explicit consent.

3. Account Registration & Security

• Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete details regarding your identity, education, occupation, marital status, and family background.
• Single Account: Members may only create and maintain one active profile at a time.
• Credential Confidentiality: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username, password, OTP). You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Code of Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You strictly agree that you will NOT:

• Upload or post any false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, abusive, or unlawful material.
• Impersonate any person or upload photographs of celebrities or individuals other than the registered bride/groom.
• Use the platform for commercial advertising, solicitation, financial requests, or data-scraping activities.
• Harass, stalk, intimidate, or send unwanted persistent communications to any member who has declined your interest.
• Demand money, financial assistance, or gifts under the guise of marriage.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate permanent profile termination without refund, and may invite criminal prosecution under the Information Technology Act and Indian Penal Code.

5. Membership Plans & Payment Policy

• Service Fees: Membership subscription fees and registration packages are billed based on the plan selected (e.g. Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum).
• Non-Refundable: All registration fees and membership payments are strictly non-refundable once paid, as access to verified profiles, matchmaking filters, and contact credits is granted immediately.
• Non-Transferable: Memberships are personal to the registered member and cannot be assigned, transferred, or shared with third parties.

6. Member Due Diligence & Safety Disclaimer

Kalyanamala acts as an intermediary matchmaking platform facilitating introductions between prospective families. While we perform reasonable basic checks:

Kalyanamala is not liable for any misrepresentations, disputes, or losses resulting from matrimonial decisions made between families.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All logos, branding, trademarks, website layout, database design, software algorithms, and graphics on Kalyanamala are the exclusive intellectual property of Kalyanamala. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

8. Account Deactivation & Termination

Members can deactivate or delete their account at any time from their profile settings or by submitting a request to customer support. Kalyanamala reserves the right to suspend or terminate any profile immediately if fraudulent information or misconduct is reported.

9. Limitation of Liability

Kalyanamala does not guarantee a successful marriage alliance for every member. Our service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kalyanamala and its management shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or related to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India.
